Sharing Information (Confidentiality)
All information you provide is kept in the strictest confidence. This
includes your child's medical history, family situations, and any bookings that
you may make.
We will ask parents at the beginning of each calendar year to sign a release
form that allows us to share information with other organizations, such as
Service Coordination, for the sole purpose of providing quality care. You
do not have to sign this waiver if you do not wish.
Please note that due to our confidentially policy, we are unable to tell you
if your child's friends are booked at a certain time. If you wish to book
your child at the same time and their friends, you will have to coordinate this
with the other parents. We thank you for understanding.

Acute Illness During a Stay
Unfortunately, we cannot keep any child who develops an infectious disease
such as a cold, flu, tonsillitis, chicken pox, etc., as it would be unfair to
both the other children and the staff at the Rotary Home. In such a situation,
you would be asked to take your child home with you as soon as possible.
If you are going out of town while your child is staying with us, please
leave the name of an alternative person who can pick your child up if necessary.

Parent(s) going out of town During a Child's Visit
If you are going out of town while your child is staying with us, you are required to leave the name of an alternative person who can pick your child up if necessary (child becomes sick or there is an emergency closure). This person must be able to arrange for transportation and be able to care for your child in your absence.

Emergency Closures
Over the past 25 years we have only had to close our doors twice; once due to an extended city wide power outage, and once due to a major flood. In the event we have to close our doors we will call you and ask that you pick up your child as soon as possible. If you are not able to pick your child up, we will ask that you send your emergency contact person.
