We have 4 full-time Registered Nurses, and 1 Registered Practical Nurse who provide around the clock nursing care for the children and support to their fellow staff members and families.
Sarah

Registered Nurse
Sarah holds a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, and is one of our original nurses that joined the Home in 2002 when our Multiple Special Needs program first began. Sarah's passion is community nursing and would like to specialize in skin and wound care. Sarah is one of our in-home training coaches and also chairs our Rotary Home Slush fund which ensures that every staff member is recognized during special occasions.
Patricia
B., RN
Registered Nurse
Patricia (Trish) has been working in the community with children for over 10 years. Many of our families have had her care for their child in the school setting or in their home over the years. Patricia joined the full time team in August 2005, bringing a wealth of experience with her. Patricia is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to a beautiful baby boy on April 14, 2006, we look forward to her return.

Advanced Practice Nurse
Jill joined us in January 2006. Jill has recently completed the combined Master of Science in Nursing/Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Ottawa and works for us on a casual basis. Jill has 3 years experience working with children in hematology, nephrology and oncology. We are fortunate to have her as part of the team and to be able to draw upon her knowledge and expertise.
